Useful information about saunas

The following types of saunas we offer:

FINNISH SAUNA

The traditional classic sauna, as everyone knows, in the high temperature range.

BIO SAUNA

A bio sauna is the combination of a Finnish sauna and a sauna with increased humidity, operated at a higher temperature. The bio sauna is heated with a Finnish oven, combined with its own water tank to increase humidity significantly. In addition, a bio sauna with a much lower temperature than the Finnish sauna is adjustable and is therefore of great interest to a wide variety of complaints, such as:

Chill, skin problems, respiratory problems and alleviates much more.

COMBI SAUNA

Essentially structured as a bio sauna is equipped with infrared lamps to alleviate symptoms of the entire bone structure and joints.

The following types of wood are used in saunas.

SPRUCE

fich_1Fichte_frei

The slow growth of spruce logs caused by the extreme cold, makes the spruce particularly resistant. This wood is therefore ideally suited for the construction of saunas and ideally suits the high requirements. The fine pore structure of the wood creates a soothing and strong heat air.

Stone Pine

Zia_2Zirbe_frei

The Zirbekiefer or stone pine is a characteristic of the high altitudes of the Alps. For centuries, pine wood has been used for interior paneling in farms and taverns, for the production of beds and chests for storing food or for shingles and for carving. Due to its antibacterial effect, we currently use this type of wood for the building of saunas and infrared cabins. Due to the high content of wood extractives such as resin and essential oils, the wood is antibacterial and has a pleasant smell, which lasts a long time and makes the process pine to wood, a special feel-good factor.

CEDAR

zed_3Zeder_frei

The slow-growing, majestic Western Red Cedar is native to the forests of the temperate coastal zone and in the interior of British Columbia (Canada). The lightweight wood of the red cedar is stable and dries quickly. Due to its specific cell structure, it has very good insulating properties. It is free from resin and has a perfectly suitable surface: smooth, uniform, fine-textured and pleasantly spicy in flavor and also has antibacterial properties. The natural warmth and beauty of this wood, also offers many architectural and device technical possibilities, for far beyond the construction of saunas.
